The CBB centrifugal decanters with 2-phase separation are designed to treat sludge from civil purification plants, industrial water treatment processes, agri-food processing such as juices, purees and vegetable by-products, as well as residues from the paper, mining and metalworking sectors. The centrifugal separation technology allows to obtain a clear distinction between liquid and solid phases, guaranteeing operational continuity even with high flow rates. The structure of the drum and the optimized management of the internal flows ensure process stability and constant quality of the clarified product.

How it works - The steps
Decanter with 2-phase separation, the steps
In CBB decanters with 2-phase separation, the incoming sludge is conveyed through the feeding tube (1) inside the drum (3), where the centrifugal force separates the liquid component from the solid one. The clarified liquid phase is expelled from the front part (2) via adjustable level plates, which allow the outlet diameter to be optimized according to the characteristics of the treated material. The solid phase is instead intercepted by the screw (4), which transports it towards the rear discharge outlets (5), ensuring a continuous and controlled flow.
