CBB Decanters with 3-phase separation are designed to treat sludge and mixtures containing a solid phase and two liquid phases with different specific weights, typical of the food, oleochemical, environmental, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. The centrifugal separation technology allows you to simultaneously obtain a dehydrated solid phase, a light liquid phase and a heavy liquid phase, ensuring operational continuity and constant quality of the final product. Thanks to the configuration of the drum and the optimized management of internal flows, CBB Decanter decanters maintain high efficiency even with complex or highly variable materials. 3-phase separation is the ideal technical answer for processes that require the simultaneous recovery of multiple components, the reduction of volumes to be disposed of and maximum operational stability.

How it works - The Steps
Decanter with 3-phase separation, the steps
In the CBB Decanter with 3-phase separation, the incoming sludge is conveyed through the feeding tube inside the drum, where the centrifugal force generates the simultaneous stratification of the three components: solid phase and two liquid phases differentiated by specific weight. The light liquid phase and the heavy liquid phase are expelled separately from the front via dedicated nozzles and adjustable level plates, which allow the outlet diameter to be optimized according to the characteristics of the treated material. The solid phase is instead intercepted by the screw, which transports it towards the rear discharge outlets ensuring a continuous and controlled flow.
